Meet Our Leadership Family
 Tom Pickens is the Sr. Pastor and Founder of Antelope Valley Christian Center, or more affectionately known as “AVCC”. He is also the Founder of Victory Christian Center located in Victorville, California, pastored by Al Zorn and was glad to assist in the launch of "Life of Victory Christian" pastored by LaMarcus Keys.
Prior to pioneering Antelope Valley Christian Center, in January of 1980 Tom taught at Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma for Kenneth Hagin Ministries, for three and one-half years.
In 1983 he joined the ministerial staff at Crenshaw Christian Center with Dr. Fred Price, where he served in an assisting position for 10 years.His genuine love for people and gift of teaching has been such an asset to the Church and community. He is happily married to his wife Donna and together they are the blessed parents of two daughters, one son, and enjoying being proud grandparents
Donna Pickens is the wife of Pastor Tom Pickens. Donna teaches on the reality of God’s Word, and how to apply it
on a day-to-day basis. She enjoys helping and leading women through God's Word to live life "worry-free". Mrs.
Pickens sat under the ministry of Dr. Fred Price for over 28 years, and she was one of his original “12” members.
Donna is well versed in giving forth the uncompromising Word of God, which reflects her belief in the Power of The
Word! She truly enjoys being a wife, mother and grandmother and loving her family.
 Pastor Tommy Pickens III is the Executive Asst. Pastor. Pastor Tommy is a 2003 and 2004 graduate of
Rhema Bible Training Center, in Broken Arrow,OK and Oral Roberts University in Tulsa,OK where he received a
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management.He serves alongside his father, Pastor Tom Pickens Jr., as Executive
Assistant pastor responsible for various duties which include Young Adult pastor, Director of Volunteer Support,
budgeting and more. His strive for excellence and full productivity has enhanced each team in which he is
privelaged to serve. He is happily married to Monique Pickens who is also a graduate of RHEMA and Oral Roberts
University.The two are proud parents of the lively Thomas Pickens IV.
 Minister Sherree’ Johnson is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and serves alongside her father, Pastor Thomas Pickens, Jr., as the Sr. High Minister for AVCC’s "Real Talk" Youth Ministry. Minister Sherree’s fun personality, passionate drive and inspirational teaching methods motivate our youth to grow both spiritually and emotionally in the things of God.
She is happily married to George Johnson, III, who faithfully serves as an active member of the Usher Team. George also dedicates his talents and time to assisting with the Youth Ministry. Minister Sherree’ and George are both happy parents of one daughter, the delightful Miss Katelynn Cheyenne Johnson.
